Captured this moose in Rocky Mountain National Park. Still not sure about this one, but I do like the outstretched neck.

Dan, I like it, it just needed darker borders to keep the eye inside the picture. Here's the example.

    Hi Dan,
Nice surroundings, nice view of the muscles in the chest and shoulders, good BG colors, natural behavior, and some eye contact on top of that. Seems alright to me. I like Fab's little tweak.

Lovely shot Dan. really like it. The pose, low view and inclusion of habitat make it and Fab's tweak polishes it off nicely.

Love the image and the clear view of the eye above the leafy branch. Fabs repost is excellent. Fabs, what did you do? And what did you mean by this: "it just needed darker borders to keep the eye inside the picture."???

I think she means by making the edges a little darker, it keeps the viewers eye inside the frame. I have been meaning to ask myself how she did this.

Yes, I meant doing the borders a little darker as a way to keep the viewer's eyes from wandering out of the picture, the light edges not stopping the eyes.
I used Nik Colors Effex Complete Darken/Lighten center. Nik can be downloaded for a free trail version here:

    https://www.niksoftware.com/site/

It has many useful filters, such as Gratuade Neutral density, polarizer, reflectors and so forth.

You can also darken the borders with the Burn Tool in CS.
