This image is more than wonderful.

But what is a post without some little suggestion: try a very small increase in contrast and see if you like it.

    Thanks Mike!

    The background is sunlit reed.

Gorgeous composition with an exceptional BG and nice perch. Way to go!

Agree with the positives above. The BG is distracting IMO. I would tone down its brightness and saturation.

I'm with Aidan on desaturating the BG some - but not too much. Great pose and colours on the KF. I would personally like a bit more room above, and I would clone out the few "floating" pieces along the bottom of the perch. Still, this image offers strong impact upon viewing!

LOVE it, comp, light, colors, detail and species, I would suggest some more contrast though. Congratulations!

I also agree with a touch more contrast and a slight tone down on the BG but wow...what a showstopper. I seriously thought I was looking at a painting when I first opened up the image.

Stunning, Miklos. I agree with the comments regarding a slight contrast boost. Love the BG but agree with toning it down a little. I would be inclined to push it to a slightly warmer, more orange yellow. Great job.

    Thanks for suggestions!
Here is the reprocessed version with original WB (the 1st was changed to cloudy from daylight) and more contrast.
