There were so many opportunities for photographing the bears that it is hard to resist posting. As I mentioned before we were photographing most of the time in the rain and this image shows the rain probably better than most do.

He doesnt look happy Lynn, but you still captured the moment. The detail is there, and I would try and darken the BG. As much as you guys over there would love to see lions and leopards, I would do anything to have a day capturing bears, be it in the rain, or them catching salmon. Just give me one chance.

I agree Stu - a dream of mine to get bear-shots that are 20% of the quality I see on this forum :)
I also would like the BG a bit darker, but like the pouting-wet look of this bloke. Light on the bear itself is nice...

Super pose and comp Judy. Excellent low viewpoint too. looking at this and feeling that many of your lovely bear shots were just a tad bright, I tinkered. Really hope u don't mind. Just feel that this is so close, a tickle was needed and maybe your monitor isn't helping.. (dunno, but can't offer help unless i stick my neck out so here goes, :)).

Modifications only were. + 6 contrast and -17 brightness. Checking preview after downloading feel could probably go a tad further...seems to lose contrast on the download for some reason.

Love the detail in the bear and the soft green background. The repost really brings out the greens.

Great pose, BG, colors, and atmosphere. I like the subtle tweak of David's 2nd attempt.

Lovely colours. Innocent pose. The rain drops appear better after the brightness is lowered. I can imagine how much fun you had with the bears.
