I worked on this the other day, and then I had unexpected visitors. I've totally forgotten the sequence or which filters, but I used CS4, Color Efex, and Topaz simplify. Thanks for looking and for all comments and critiques.

Cindy, I really like the BG colors and the flowers seem to jump off the page! I like the focus of the 2 small leaves in the URC but feel they pull my eye a bit off the main subject.

Hi Cindy, Beautiful color, subject matter and use of filters. Would have liked to have seen the backround a bit more muted and a small amount of canvas added to the bottom.

    Thanks everyone for your comments.

Denise, I agree with you about the 2 small leaves but didn't know what to do with - remove or darken them. Dave, good ideas - I'll see if I can try a repost later.

Cindy, I can't say for sure until I tried to work it. But I do love the BG as is. To me the colors are fantastic! Maybe a bit more canvas would help bring the leaves away from the edge and into the image more.

the blossom petals here are truly a work of art IMO....the pink hues are well balanced
    giving excellent depth

Thanks to all for your comments. Denise, I'm still working on a new version without the leaves, but haven't been pleased with the results yet. I do think adding canvas is a good idea.

The flowers are beautiful! That pink color contrasted with the green really looks great.
