Beautiful specimen, good eye contact, light, angle and complementing BG. Details look good, too, particularly considering that it is at ISO 800.

Nice! You waited until the perfect head angle to press the shutter button. I can't believe how white the iris is, very intriguing! I would probably crop about half of the space below the tail.

Gorgeous lookback pose, excellent light, good BG, details and colours. While I like the composition I could do with a bit more room on top.

    Kiran,
Lovely image. The head turn works fine. I would crop a bit from the bottom. The curved perch looks good to me. Any cloning done to the background? Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

Hey Kiran, you have the best of both worlds here. Good HA and pose, and showing detail from the back and wings too. Overall sharp, just love that stare, and what a killer BG. Well captured.

Thank you all dear people for your kind words of encouragement and most valuable Suggestions. I kept the bird on the top left to avoid centering.

As suggested I have taken off some room from the bottom and added just a wee bit on the top and also reduced the right side a bit to balance off, tell me if it looks ok.

@Sabyasachi Patra : I have just cloned out one dark patch in the BG near the left of the branch.

    Thanks again,

    Regards,

    Kiran.

A real stunner Kiran! The white eye is mesmerizing. Love the look-back pose, soft light, and soft BG. The curved perch is quite nice too.
