I've never been comfortable asking strangers for a moment of their time to take their picture. Several us went to Lincoln Road on Miami Beach with the expressed mission of expanding our street photography skills. I actually started to enjoy the mission.... This elderly woman from New Jersey was very flattered that I would take the time to photograph her and she rewarded me with this great image taken with my Canon 5D MK II. ISO 200, f/1.8, 1/320 sec, EF50mm f/1.2L USM, Aperture Priority, Evaluative Metering, Auto Exposure, Auto WB, No Flash.... Comments Welcome!!

This is what brought me back to photography after so many years. Love the expression. Excellent details.

Richard - very engrossing image, I found myself looking at it for quite a while.
Can't think of any suggestions, seems terrific the way it is. Calls out for a collection of portraits to go with this one.
    Well done

Richard, a very powerful image. The stories, oh the stories - I'd love to talk to her:)

Richard, contest worthy, but would that require a release?
