    Default GB Heron

My first decent result attempting pan blurs. I'm kind of torn between if I'd like the bird less out of focus or more, wondering what you guys think?

    Thanks much for viewing

I like the idea and BG. I might sharpen the head a bit more and wish the heron would fly towards you.

I like the fast panning idea. These shots are always hit or miss.

    Nathan:

I have mixed feelings about pan blurs in general, but find they work best for me if at least the eye and head are reasonably sharp. I think your image has a great sense of speed/movement .

These take endless practice, and there is a very high discard rate, but once in a while one works just right.

    Keep working it!
