    Default duo lighting

    D700
    24-70mm F/2.8G
    66mm
    ISO 200
    f16 at 10s
    Manual mode
    Matrix Metering
    0.0EV
    Auto white balance
    Tripod

Rotate CW, Cropped and added Orange filter (to have the sky about the same color as the previous one).

Going through the lighting pictures I did notice I break the f16 rule (to increase my shutter speed to 10s) on some of the pictures. Guess if the lighting is really intense then you can have a small opening. The lighting do look a bit fuzzier here, or it might just be my imagination. Too bad the lighting on the right got cut off, should I crop it off completely and have more room on the left?

    Comments and suggetions are welcome.

I guess you are right, when mother nature makes light most settings will work. Try a crop of just building on the left - its just feel anyway - great catch. These shots w/o a trigger are fantastic.

Well done without a trigger - personally Id crop the rHS out- but just personal taste.

    Hi Thanaboon,

Managing to get two lightening bolts at once is pretty good going!

I am not experienced enough to comment on the technical details of the capture, but the result looks pretty good. My only advice would be next time to perhaps try a wider view (nearer 24mm) and then crop the image in a panoramic style.

    I like it Thanaboon,
The purple sky looks good...I too cast my vote for cropping out the building on the right...it makes for a stronger composition...keep them coming...

I see the point in taking the right building but I'm sure would have been one killer image with more room to the right !!! Keep at it !!!
