I went to a small nature reserve close to my house on saturday. In this, I changed the whitebalance in camera, to give this a bit of warmth in the early morning light. I tried to position myself so as not to get the sky in the top half, but it just wasnt possible.

Great detail Stuart. I especially like the eye with the visible horizon and rising sun. I like the WB tweak you did.

Nice warm early morn feeling and maintained detail in the animal.Bummer of horizon but now you know where to go back.
Did you do additional blurring on background with software ?

Super light Stu. Good detail and colour. Pity about the top portion of the BG.

Very lovely, Stuart, shame on the part of sky showing, but sometimes it isn't meant to be. I like your white balance choice.

Wonderful image Stuart - I like the wark light and crisp presentation. I wish I had a nature reserve nearby with Zebras in it.

Hey Simon, thanks a lot. The reserve has zebra's, a few species of different buck, rhino, buffalo, jackal's and all depending on the season, plenty of birdlife.
