    Catch me if you can!!

Made this image 2 weeks ago .. Was near this lake hoping to make flight shots of Pelicans
The sun was continously getting behind and coming out of the clouds which made the whole morning a bit tricky!! :-) ..
This cormorant was beside these two pelicans all along.. I was watching them for about 15 mins just loitering around together. I was hoping that the pelicans would fly and I could try a flight shot.. The Cormorant dived in and came out & all of a sudden there was a splash and a lot of movement.. this is what happened! :D

    Camera: Canon EOS 40D
    Lens: Canon 100-400 IS L
    Exposure: 1/2000
    Aperture: f/8.0
    Focal Length: 400 mm
    ISO Speed: 400

    C & C welcome .. Thanks for watching!!

Good interaction captured, did the cormorant give up the fish? The image needs a bit CCW rotation and too bad the sun was not behind you.

Very nice behaivioral shot, I would crop tighter to see more details of the birds.

Nice action shot. Agree with above, re: CCW rotation and crop. I wonder if there's a bit of a blue cast.

    Thanks for your time guys..
@Axel ...thank you i was setup to shoot a dragon fly and was behind a shrub.. suddenly when i had to shoot this image ,i didnt get the angle right.. and it was a bit slanted.. the image is already rotated by 6 deg. I guess it need more.. :) ..

as for the cormorant , although one of the pelicans didnt give up quickly, the cormorant eventually got away pretty easyily :)
