    This image was captured in early morning back light. I specifically tried to get the rim light while still capturing fur and face detail.
    This was captured at a water hole as he came down to quench his thirst.
    He turned his back towards me and drank from the water to the right and behind him.:(

    I think you succeeded well Dave. Good looking animal with great rim lighting and jsut the amount of detail I would expect - excellent exposure technique.

    Excellent shot Dave. Worked a treat. Just enough details and rim lighting shows it off well.

    Nice job with the rim lighting and keeping detail up and noise down in the shadows.

    You have exposed this very well Dave. The rim light shows up nicely, and love the eye contact.
