I'm not sure if this just looks like a fuzzy image or is pleasing to the eye. I used a motion blur and I cloned out a trailing flower but
left in the one for a spot of color. I'd like to see what everyone else thinks:confused: I'm thinking too fuzzy.

    Thanks for looking:)

Not sure what is going on here Cheryl !!! Might have tried having one of the elements more recognizable Its all about interpretation and no hard rules Glad your experimenting !!!

I have a mix feeling about this, I like how the white betterfly looks like a smoke but not the leaves. For me, I wish the leaves are sharper.

    Hi Cheryl,
I see what you were trying to do...:) the composition proper, has not specific anchor point to start the blur motion from. You need a least on strong element to be not as sharp but at best to be defined as to what shape you want people to lock their eyes on. The image has too many variables out of focus with no pattern or motion to follow. For you next one, focus on a point and blur or zoom blur from that point...I'm looking forward to your next one...:) Keep them coming...:)

Thanks, guys. I agree. I should have just let the long exposure create the blur of the fritillary and then the
leaves would have been in focus.

Although I can not make it out completly, I like the black BG and the against the silverish object. Would remove the bright object on the green leave.
