Default No Ruler Tool in PSE 6 for Mac???

I am dumbfounded that there doesn't seem to be a ruler tool in PSE 6 (for Mac) which one can use for rotating images. I am a newbie with PSE 6 and hence if someone more familiar with the program can confirm that or point me in the right direction I'd appreciate that.

    Thanks, JR

It should be behind the eye dropper in your Tool box. IF you just want to rotate, select all and use the transform command from Edit.

Fabs, thanks for the prompt feedback. Unfortunately, there is no option under the Eye-dropper tool in PSE 6. It doesn't have the little triangle indicating that there are other options in the first place.

These are for rulers to the left and on top of the image. It's not a measurement tool as in the real Photoshop.

sorry...maybe this I found it using google

If you're using Photoshop Elements you can get a similar result if you use its Line tool to determine the angle to rotate the image. Start by choosing Window, Info and drag the Info palette somewhere you can see it clearly. Now choose the Line tool (it shares a spot with other shapes like the Rectangle and Ellipse tool) and drag a line along the part of the image which should be horizontal. Don't let go the mouse button until you have read the angle measurement for this line in the Info palette. Take note of this (it's the rotation amount), and then choose Edit, Undo to remove the line you just created. Choose Image, Rotate, Custom and enter the value you got from the Info dialog and press Ok. The image will rotate into the correct position.

I am not sure if I understand this completely as I have never used full PS but I do use PSE6 and I use the 'straighten' tool to level my images, its 2 below the crop tool on my tool bar down the left hand side ?

Tell, you're the MAN! I had assumed that the Straighten Tool on the toolbar would act like the menu options under Image/Rotate/Straighten which does some funny stuff with my images. Begs the question again why Adobe makes things so difficult...

And I am sure that Bill's version would work too although it's of course nicer to have the "automated" version.
