    Default Ibis Moon!

This is a combo of two images. The moon was a crop to enlarge it. The birds weren't cropped, but selected and put on a seperate layer. C&C welcome.

Dan, Nice composite image. I may have opted for the moon a bit more off-centered but this is effective. Very cool looking silhouettes! I wish the front bird's heads weren't clipped and I might clean-up the back edges of the frame. Very nicely done! Does look like an Ibis Moon!!!

totally agree with Denise's critique....a very creative composite Dan.
The noise in bg is quite prominent. Might have done a quick mask on moon
and converted bg to black and white(RGB), that would kill the chroma coloring

Thanks guys for the great suggestions! In the repost I reduced the noise in the BG with Noise Ninja. Denise, as for the birds on the left and right edges, I agree that they are a problem but I kind of like the illusion of extending the flock and, I doubt that I can eliminate them cleanly given the smooth BG sky. I will play around!!

Hi Dan, Agree with above comments but I do like the color of the moon and the stark silouettes of the birds which makes a nice contrast.
