    Default Blowing Rocks Revisited



    went back yesterday for another try. Skies were great yet stormy.

    This time we got some blowing rocks.

    I like the whole 'stormy' feel of this image Michael. Nice contrasting colours and width to take it all in.

    you got a 'dust bunny' up on top in the centre :)

    I would have liked to see a tad more FG but that's personal taste. great shot!

    I like the storm coming in and the orange peeking through the clouds. The rocks look a little dull IMO, other then that nice job:)

    Michael,

    The yellow and blue BG balances well with the FG blowing water and curvature of the rocks. I suggest some local contrast enhancement on the rocks to make them more forceful in the image and bring out the detail.

    Hi Michael,
    I agree with Robert and will add.....also include the water splash (RH side) in the LCE......making it stand out more from the blues of the BG will also add impact. As for more room on the bottom.....only if it didn't sacrifice the cloud at top. I like the different look and angle.
