    Note:
The base image was enhanced by applying an oil sandstone canvas texture and outlining portions of the wings and body with an ink brush finish, applied manually. The saturation and contrast levels were kicked up a notch to give little Tina some character.

This is my little friend Tina the Ladybug. Tina was painted with a Nikon D2x, using a Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 IF-ED macro lens with a stacked combination of a 25mm and a 20mm extension tubes.

    Image Solution:
focal length @ 105mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / in camera matrix metering / 1/250sec. - f/32 / exposure comp @ 0EV / ISO @ 800 / white balance @ auto / AF - Mode @ manual / color space @ sRGB / lighting solution - Nikon R1C1 wireless close up speedlight system; both light units set to ¼ lumen burst with a wide dispersal pattern and attached diffuser. / tone comp @ +2 degrees / hue adjustment @ +2 degrees / saturation factor @ +3 degrees / support platform – Monopod assist.

    Comments greatly appreciated...
