Note: The base image was enhanced by applying an oil sandstone canvas texture and outlining portions of the wings and body with an ink brush finish, applied manually. The saturation and contrast levels were kicked up a notch to give little Tina some character.
This is my little friend Tina the Ladybug. Tina was painted with a Nikon D2x, using a Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 IF-ED macro lens with a stacked combination of a 25mm and a 20mm extension tubes.
