This is shot on a pond near a mall in Rochester.
Somebody must have dump some goldfish in this pond.
I've seen heron catch a least a dozen goldfish.
This guy went in pretty deep to get this one almost
    looks like he is swimming.

Wonderful saturated colors Don. Nice and crisp too. Interesting presentation too, although part of me feels it isn't nec' and is better suited for a wall, but that is quite minor. Nice one!

It is great. The fish may be upstaging the bird. Do try to lower brightness 8-14 % and increase contrast by about 3 to 6 %. You may want an additional color blue saturation of 3 to 8 % and the same with a yellow saturation.

Interesting behavior, I like the swimming pose and sharpness. I wish the OOF grass were not in the foreground and find the frame a bit overpowering.

I think the additional frame takes away from the photo, seems to compete with the water ripples, which I do like surrounding the bird. Nice capture with the fish and I rarely see herons wading in such deep waters. A bit less saturation maybe and I agree with Axel on the fg grass.
