    I have plenty of real colorful sunrise images:reds, purples, oranges, etc, yet the lens flare on this one seemed interesting.

    Bill, Some people aren't fond of lens flares. I happen to like them,they create points of interest in the image. I might tone this one down a bit at the center of the flare. I like the orange tones and the horizon placement.

    I do like the composition and lines created by the flare, Bill, as well as the color tones here. I agree that a little less harshness of the flare might help.
