    Default Theme: Midnight Flamingo

    Original at Lake Nakuru, Kenya. I'll try to remember everything I did: radial zoom blur, various lighting effects in CS4 including lens flare, Topaz Adjust with masking to blur some areas, Nik Color Efex Midnight, with light masked back in some areas. I didn't quite achieve the effect I was seeking, but had to stop for now. All comments and critiques welcome.

    Hi Cindy, Good effects here. I can see you were trying to target the one bird that was opening its wings. Creative idea! I feel the image would be stronger if the image was cropped 2/3rds down between the top and the glows outer band. To my eye the image lends itself to that.

    Hi Cindy, I like the effect you were going after. I think the block look on the right hand side might need to be blended more. I like the overall effect and the front water area and flamingos look awesome. Dave makes some good points. Nice base image also. Very creative!!!

    Thanks, Dave and Denise. I agree with both of your suggestions. Here's another rendition, but when I have time, I'd like to go back to the original and make some other modifications.
