    Default Little owl

For a long time I have been waiting for a decent Little owl flight image.
Today I went to an old abandoned quarry not to far from where I live.
I knew there were little owls there but finally I got a flight image to be happy with.

Great light in this Danny. Like the tight crop and intensity of those eyes. WD!

Pretty cool, I like the angle, stare and complementing BG. If it were mine I might lighten the parts of the eyes that are not sunlit.

SH with great light. Is this full frame? I too wish that the bird were staring right down the lens barrel....

A more than decent shot, I'd say. Well framed and agree with comments above concerning eye contact.

Artie's preferred HA would've made this an award winner. Love the tight comp and DOF with perfect focus on the eyes. Very well done!!

HA or not, this is a killer image. Not easy to get one of these guys in flight at all, let alone this head on shot. Nicely captured.

I agree, this is a killer shot! Not perfect, but a killer...I love those eyes, they really are hypnotic.

The eyes are amazing! I have a very similar picture of a White-eyed Buzzard, will post it sometime. Congrats for this fine image.
