Light falls from the sky like rain in a rural setting in Utah. :) This is an HDR image.

I really like the dark clouds with the ilight rays here, Kerry! Beautiful light. I do like the fence posts in the foreground, but I'm leaning toward cropping some off the bottom so the image isn't cut in half by the line of the road. More of a pano crop would accentuate the clouds, IMO.

    Nice image and effect, Kerry.

I will let Cindy take the hit on the crop, this time! ;) :D

Kerry, I like the way the rays of light are "falling like rain". I also like the fence posts in the FG. The lighting is beautiful. The image really conveys a sense of rural living. I can see Cindy's point. Nicely done.

Hi Kerry, Dramatic light along with it's rays make this a strong image. I would normally agree with Cindy's crop suggestion but in this case it would take out the base of the posts which IMO is important they remain. I might have given a bit more room on the bottom and cropped or cloned out the far right post...

I think Dave is right here, the posts need to remain, and I'll rescind my crop suggestion.

Thanks all! I was hoping this would lead to a discussion about the crop, as I debated about it with myself. I can see both points of view but decided that chopping off the fence posts would be worse than the centered division line. Cindy, no need to change your response - it is a valid point!
