    Hi everyone!

Based on the suggestions from BPN members in my previous version of this shot (http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...ad.php?t=44221), I decided to do a little 'creative' post-processing. I moved the boat closer to the sun and composed vertically from there.

I hope you like! Let me know what your thoughts are.

This shot was still taken in my point-and-shoot days, and was taken on our honeymoon in Mozambique.

Colours as seen in that moment. It was magical.

Agree with Dave. That will give you a RoTs composition and balance it out better.

I really like how this turned out. Everything is tied together more than in the first post. I like the comp as is.

Morkel, by the rule book this might be an improvement over the OP. IMHO, the appeal of the first one is lost here. OP gave a feel for the vastness of the sea and i miss that here. A large format print of the OP would be a killer.

    Regards,
    Ramesh

thanks Ramesh - I too like the first post more because that is how I saw it on the day, no editing done.
this posted merely to show I applied suggestions and to see what others now think.

    Hey Morkel,
I prefer the OP too.....but the pano version:D......since we were still playing.....I moved the boat some more and cropped....closer to what I had in mind but do remember that it wasn't possible anyway. I am not particularily fond of moving things to "create" the image......so OP is the way to go.....this is just to show the possible strength of such a presentation.

thanks Roman - appreciate your inputs as always.
I like your repost as a potential comp when it's available naturally :)

Beautiful picture, I like Roman's crop, the sun is so gorgeous and the boat just chilling there, who needs all that water. Great job:)
