    Made this image of a juvenile plaintive cuckoo that has been "fostered" out to a pair of ashy tailorbirds.Quite a sight to behold given the great disparity in physical size!

    Beautiful details and the gradient BG looks great! I think the perch is a bit large for the bird. The eye looks very sharp! Nice composition.

    Great eye contact and nice light. Love the detail. Do wish the perch were a little smaller. I might place the bird a little higher in the frame.

    Perch is a bit big as mentioned , but that doesn't stop this from being a wonderful image. The Killer BG and detail make up for any minor shortcomings.

    Beautiful image, sharp and buttery BG, agree about the perch size been a little big for the bird, but thats a minor issue.Do post an image showing the juvenile and the foster-parent if you have one.
