    Good looking bird, well exposed and sharp Like the bg very much Would just like a cleaner perch, might crop some from the bottom to minimize ... like the behavior !!!

    yes same i wished for but the fact is that this fella is busy collecting nesting material and the place were just bellow this thorny open perch which was better than the one he was collecting material from.

    this is the actual habitat they are tend to be sit on at the location.

    Yes, nice bird with a good exposure. The current composition is very centered. The birds head is in the middle of the frame. Re-cropping and adding canvas could change the look of this image quite a bit.

    Great HA, and I like him holding on to the blade of grass. Cool yellow crest, and the rest of him shows good detail too. His perch is a bit busy, but hey, we cant always choose their perch or BG.

    Beautiful bird shows up very nicely against that background. Pose is great. Difficult composition, but I don't think I would change it.

    I like the nesting material in its beak, sharpness and BG. Adding to the other suggestions, I would desaturate the yellows of the head a bit.
