    Rod,

    Please tell me how you got this guy to hold still for you! The swallows have now arrived in SE Florida but they're in constant motion and never seem to perch anywhere. They're so fast it's hard to tell exactly what kind of swallow they are, but they're probably tree or barn. Hint: deeply forked tail.

    About your image, good sharpness and detail. I like the environment. Did you do some selective burning around the bird? If you did, looks like the area above his back is unfinished. But I think I would've left the BG as shot. Doesn't look too light in the unfinished area. Great work!

    Super detail and nice habitat. The eye contact is great. Agree that the light area behind the bird doesn't look quite right; I'd be tempted to even out the tonality of the rocky perch.
