Making good use of the tidal pool at Nickerson the other evening. All the pools are now gone and I think the skimmers will be gone soon as well. Only about 200 left and approx. 75 terns. Oh well , on to the warblers.

Good bathing pose, and nice water drops action. Needs a bit of CCW rotation, and I would eliminate the white drop (?) near the end of the bill. I'll trade you skimmers and terns for mallards and geese...

Agree with the clockwise rotation and I also think, my opinion, a shot like this the bird could be centered so that the ripples and the ring of water could "frame" the bird.... just thinking out loud there..

I think you mean a CC rotation. As for the crop , I see where your coming from and I will try it as well. I liked this crop , but I think this just comes down to taste. Always good to hear you think out loud.

Always great to see them enjoying a bath. I love the flying droplets, and agree this needs a CCW rotation.
