    Default Magnificent Hummingbird

I went back to the same place I took my last hummer image and took some more photos of the Magnificent Hummingbird. Comments are welcome.

    Lorant:

A lovely fellow, excellent HA and angle on perch, pleasant BG, nicely scaled perch.

The bill and eye are sharp, with some softening of the back of the head. I suspect the point of focus was just a bit more anterior than the head, based on the sharpness of the perch in front, versus behind.

If it were mine, I might adjust the luminosity of the background to a slightly lower level, to help the hummer stand out more, but it is very nice as is.

    Cheers

    Randy

    Hi Lorant,
I like the composition, light and BG. Wish he had landed on a better looking perch.

I like the sharpness, BG and eye contact and would give it more room top and bottom.
