1.3x crop vs 1.6x crop

I am curious what do you folks prefer. The 1D or a 7d/50d type body?

Personally, I'm happy with the 1D because of the low noise. The 7D could come in quite handy with little and/or skittish birds in relatively good light.

The Mark III strikes a nice balance IMO. Image quality is excellent and the 1.3 crop is a plus. I'm reserving judgment on the 7D, but will probably get one. I'm really looking forward to the Mark III successor though!
