    Default Green River Overlook

Shot after sundown. This is a 4 image HDR -2, -1, 0, +1. Did not go with the +2 in the mix as it made the landscape look too weird. There wasn't that much detail at +2 anyway. I liked this result best.

Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark II
    canon 24-105L
    Aperture: f/16.0
    Focal Length: 73 mm
    ISO Speed: 200

processed in photomatix pro and finished in cs 4, with viveza and noise ninja

    Hey Michael,
Don't know why but it just feels like it needs a slight CCW rotation to me...although having been there many times everything looks correct.....hope it makes sense....in any case the HDR here brought out some nice details inthe floor that would have been otherwise lost. I like the sky color too but do wonder if darkening it just a bit would make it more tonally in harmony.....not 100% sure there. All in all nicely composed and well executed with the HDR.

It feels crooked to me also, but most likely optical illustion. I would like to see the sky darker also, on this masterfully composed image

Michael, I agree with Dennis and Roman on this one.

Great details in the FG and Middle Ground.

Wow... I love that place... I have yet to be there in good light...

I have never been a big fan of HDR but an image like this sure does make it look worthwhile.
