    From Last weeks Pelagic trip out of Westport, Washington.

    I wonder why they call them tube noses? :?

    Glenn, beautiful head shot and that BG really makes this image. Exposure control is spot on and love the detail in the eye and "tubes". Simply outstanding.

    Nice light, and exposure control. I would like a lower angle, but it probably wasn't possible on a pelagic tour.

    As far as I know they can drink salt water and excrete excess salt through these glands that look like tubes.
