I took this before the sun came up and it was very foggy. I like the mood, but don't know if it works generally. I would be interested in knowing how you feel about it and if you think it can be saved. Thanks.

Moody for sure. But -- for me, anyway -- it is confusing in an unsatisfying way. What is that object on the left? Maybe it's a rock, but its left end
belies that guess. Mysteries and unknowns can be good things in an image, but this is a needless distraction. Take it out and I think you have
an image with a captivating mood.

    Hi Carole,
I do really like Davids correction.....but will offer a crop possibility if you aren't OK with digital removal.....I also added 5 points to black in selective color. gives the moose something to aim for.....but my personal preference is David's re-post.

Hi Carole - both reposts work for me - although I find Davids does change the story and IMHO the natural history of the shot if that makes any sense.

In the original - the donkey is abviously making it way to the log for safe refuge, Davids repost takes away this vital peice of the puzzle.

Love the mood - Congrats :)

Hi Carole, Compositionally I find the image stronger without the rock and cropped as a pano.

Definitely works, Carole! Love the mood. Both reposts are great, though I do agree with Lance that removing the rock changes the story; so I think I prefer Roman's repost. Just my opinion!

    Hi Carole,
I prefer David's repost with half of the dark top cropped off. IMO this is definitely a keeper! I love the pond ripples leading to the moose. Nice capture!!

Hi Carole, I think it works fine and like both repost ideas as well. I would personally like to see David's repost with Roman's cropping. ;)

Carole, very nice job at capturing the moment. I do like David's repost, but Roman's definitely has a different story. Although, if not having seen the original, Davids post would be very compelling. Congrats!!!

Thank you all for your in put. I guesss the rock must go but I am glad to be able to keep the moose. Something about the mood appeals to me....my dark side I guess. Thanks again.

Very good mood captured, I also like the lines in the water, look really nice.
I like both recrop, each tell a different story.
