It was foggy at the beach this morning, but I thought the sun shone, for a moment, on this guy just right to give him a bit of a glow. And fortunately I caught him calling. Then he flew away, with those beautiful upper outer-wing and the under-wing feathers showing, but I missed that opportunity. Cropped some, but not much tweaking on this one. Is it sharp enough?

    My favorite so far Wendell

I like the raised foot, open mouth, tongue sticking out and lots of attitude !! Also like the bg and the head being against the lighter part Only suggestions would be toning down the white at the top of the leg, nothing close to being blown just wanting a smoother transition Big Congrats on this one !!!!

Sweet light and pose, Wendell! Nice, sharp details on the bird. Looks to me like the BG could maybe use a low pass of noise reduction.

Hi Wendell - sweet light and a Roadrunner pose :)
Bright spot mentioned- some NR on the background for me as well.

    Nice work :)

Definitely my favorite so far Wendell! Excellent capture and well placed in the frame. Sharpness seems ok, wouldn't add much. Does seem to want a bit of NR for the bg but has a nice painterly feeling to it as is. Good show!

Hi Wendall....Like the image...sharp enough for me. I do agree you might try running some NR on the bg. Great catch!
