Okay guys, I'm a little slow on the uptake..I'm still playing with last week's theme!!:o
I've tried doing an hi key ( Denise posted the link to a PDF last week) where you can do Hi key by levels and can sharpen using camera snaps; I've tried to emphasize my granddaughter, Sian's beautiful eyes and then of course the little pout that a 2 1/2 yr old has to have. I think I've overdone the eyes but your comments will be of value!:D
I also used a screen layer and blurred everything and brought back the eyes, nose and lips.

Hi Jeni, I like your composition and your beautiful subject. I think you did a good job on this but for my taste I just darkened the features a bit more.

Jeni, you did excellent with this hk. It is an excellent portrait to start with. If you used layers, you could have used the burn tool on the shadows at 10-20% to open up the features specially under the eye which would work very well with Dave's repost, IMO. Excellent in any case.

Thank you all so much - her name means "Gift from God" and that she certainly is!
Dave and Indranil - remember, my PP skills are limited so everything done on repost or suggestions need detailed explanations!!!:) I don't know how to use burn on shadows in layers??? Remember age guys!!!:D

Hi Jeni, I didn't use layers I used the burn tool adjusted for midtones at 50%. I burned until I liked it...

    Nice image and application.

I would show a little more of the shape of the face feature, but

    Your image ... Your vision
