    A first for me, I can't ID the bird on the right.. Could be an
    imm. but my book doesn't show one.

    50D, 1/1250, F7.1, iso 400, 400DO with 1.4x, -.67cam, BBeamer -1 2/3, wimberly head

    This is one of those 3 sec. chances, got off 5 shots 3 a little soft the 2nd burst
    of 2 much better, but missed him with his bill open also. looked like a territorial
    dispute, not a feed me action.

    Lovely interaction you captured Don. Overall exposure on the birds is good but the BG is quite busy IMHO. Maybe cloning out some of the twigs and leaves in between the two little fellows would improve this if that doesn't go against your ethics. I apologize for you having to wait so long for a response from here. It's almost embarrassing. Keep sending them.

    Nice interaction, but the super harsh light, busy BG, and the not ideal HA's are image killers IMO.

    Maybe the second bird is a female.

    Hi Don,

    If you wanted to send me that image (since we know each other) I'd be happy to make that BG butter. ( ;
    The interaction is nice, but I find that the quality of light is really not helping this image... it feels really contrasty.

    Mike thanks for the offer, I was hoping to get an ID on the 2nd bird. This image is only a
    documentary shot for me. It was high bright sun, dark busy background with some nasty
    hotspots, not a shot to put on a calendar etc., but a first is still a first. :D :D
