    Taken on 30/08/09 at Rutland Water, uk.
    Canon 1D mk3, EF500 + 2x conv, iso400, 1/1000th, f10, resting on window ledge of hide, heavy crop
    Processed LR2 & CS4

    I like the wing position and the inclusion of the prey is a big plus. For my taste, I think the bird could go a bit brighter. The image quality has suffered with loss of detail due to the heavy crop but the only thing you could have done was to be closer. Sometimes you take what you can get. Thanks for sharing.

    Ditto Phil. Yo could try using a contrast mask(unsharp mask w. high radius setting) on the face area.

    The pose and look-back pose look good. It does look a bit dark and I would run NR on the BG.
