    I really like the idea of the crop and it would have been great if the water were cleaner and the surface smoother. The little patch of grass behind the egret is distracting and the head of the heron is turned away from you.

    I think this is an excellent concept and composition but I agree with Axel on many of the details. I think you may have lost a bit of IQ with the 2X TC. I would love to just have an opportunity like this! :)

    Hi Joel,

    I like the water reflection. The light looks harsh and the dry grass in the back of the white heron's face really takes away from your composition.

    Thanks to all for advice and opinion. Slowly I'm getting a better idea of what needs to be culled before I waste time on it.
