    Excellent image Alan! I love your perch, especially the flower. Bird's pose is great with a good head angle and eye contact. Sharpness is very good. I was thinking you might want to crop some off the bottom but it unbalances the image and your perch loses it's power as a compositional element, so I would leave it as is. You might want to tone down the cactus a little, maybe just the lower part. But I'm getting picky here. Congratulations on this one!

    I love the open beak, sharpness, the perch. The perch doesn't bother me too much as it blends in with the creamy background.

    I like this very much. Great shot with the bird singing. The only thing I'd change is to clone on the orphan needles on the bottom left

    Very nice bird, I love the cactus and the nice clean BG.
    Nice and unusual HA in a singing pose.
    Did you think of vertical crop here, might work too IMO.
