    Default Carmel Mission

Mission San Carlos Borromeo de Carmelo, founded in 1770, second mission built in Alta California and arguably the most decorated one.

    Chapel view

This photo was made with D700 and 14-24, 1/40 sec f/2.8 ISO 400 HH.

I think in certain forums you can't edit Arash. If this is the mission in Carmel you have made a really nice shot. Was just there in June.

Thanks Jakie, This is indeed the mission and the only mission in Carmel, inside is very dark :( EXIF was wrong, it should read 1/30sec f/2.8 ISO 1600, not a big deal. Thanks!

    Hi Arash,
This is beautiful indeed, I like the wide angle perspective...how do you like your Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8? this is a very sharp fast glass well worth every penney...:D:cool:

    Hi Gus,
Thanks for your kind words, I love my 14-24, it is the sharpest zoom lens I have ever owned, it is so good it almost looks like science fiction, puts Zeiss primes into shame!!!

    Hi Arash,
I haven't conducted any comparison test between the Nikkor and the Zeiss, but the Nikkor is razor sharp with hardly any visible distortion at all...I love mine...never leave home with out it...:D:D A good compliment to have in your gadget bag would be the Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8; 24-70mm f/2.8; and the 70-200mm f/2.8, one killer combination...:)

Excellent tech settings Arash ... those two zooms perform as good as single focal length :)

Nice image with good exposure, the 14-24mm is exceptional - you did pretty well too!
