    Is this a Semipalmated Sandpiper? Photographed in Eastern PA today. Thanks!

    It looks like a Semipalmated Sandpiper to me but I still struggle with the peeps!

    Yes. It is a perfect juvenile in fresh plumage. The black legs and the blob tipped bill are indicative of semi. Juvenile western would be whiter faced and the scapulars of a fresh juvenile would have rich rusty edgings.
