I took this at Nickerson Beach awhile back and never got to work on it. I did several filters inc. Niks Color-efex. and hue adj. I also added a lighting effect. The crop is a bit different than I usually go with as it is more centered and it does not fall into the rule of thirds(that is a guideline and not always necessary to hold on tight to).

Really very nice effect, Denise! Feels like a bronze plaque... great texture and color. The lighting accentuates the composition. Excellent pp work.

Nice image and application Denise. You could crop a little on the left ... :D Just kidding. ;) :D

Agree on the ROT. Just don't like all images centered. Sometimes hard to get them off center, due to the focus tools on the camera. But worth it when needed to strengthen the image. But fully agree that it is not always right to be there.

Great pp work, Denise. I really like the combined effects. It does look like an engraving. I like the lighting, but might just a little more light to the chick on the left.

Hi Denise, In this case your positioning looks fine to me. I agree that it does look like an engraving. Very creative!

Cindy, I'll try to mask in some light later when I get a chance-I agree the tail is a bit dark.

This is nice, I'd like to get something like this to put on shower tiles.
