Adding Ball head to Mongoose 2.3

I have always wanted to be able to switch from a gimbaled head to a ball head quickly. I got tired of removing the gimbal head and then replacing it with a ball head. At one time I used a Sidekick with a much larger ball head, frankly I prefer this Mongoose set up much better.

I took a Really Right Stuff small ball head BH-25 attached a small camera plate. The attached photo shows the set up. The quick release on the Mongoose makes it easy for me to attach and use and then remove the ball head. It makes it very convient to switch.

Of course any small ball head will work.

btw Artie ball head on his store that is tiny and would also work fine, if weight/light use is the premium would be the way to go !!!
