Default Low flying African Black Ducks.

I was looking through some of my images from my summer holidays in Cape Town last December, and came across this. This a fair crop, as these guys arent that large, and they were flying on the other side of the lagoon. I thought of presenting it this way, and leave the foliage at the bottom of the image.

Glad you left the foliage as I feel it provides a base to the image.

I like the pano treatment, and also agree that the foliage should remain. I like that you caught the wings in different positions.

    Stuart:

Good choice on the crop. Agree about the foliage. Image quality is suffering a bit from the crop. I would have preferred the rear birds wings to be all the way up, but they don't always cooperate.

    Cheers

Ditto Randy. Image would be just about perfect with the wings up on the back bird.

    Well Done!

I like the crop idea and inclusion of the vegetation and agree that it would be stronger if the wings of the bird on the left were all the way up or down.

I like the treeline in the BG and agree with Axel regarding wing position. I also think the hind duck is a yellow-billed? ;)

Good idea Stu, but a fair amount of quality loss due to crop. it also looks a tad under exposed to me?
