SanDisk rebates

Hey guys,
I am about to order a bunch of extreme IV cards for upcoming workshop, I want to get 4X 8GB cards and it seems there is substantial rebate, I searched on the net and looks like many people are complaining about not having received their rebates and usual rebate scam, it's scary :eek: Has anyone bought SanDisk cards recently? Did they honor the rebate?

I've had lots of problems with them honoring rebates. Ultimately they do, but not before I threaten to report them to the authorities.

I got my rebate with no problem, but it is in the form of a debit card that expires in a couple of months.

Ted and I have had good luck with them, in fact, once, they sent us two rebate cards. Go figure.

I've had no problem with them either. I hope that continues as I just submitted another one!

I've gotten my rebates back when sent in but I have read of many others who haven't been as lucky.

Thanks a lot guys, Doug what authorities exactly did you threaten them to report to? Is there any place other than BBB that you can actually report rebate scams? I want to prepare myself if I don't get the rabate :D

I just received a $50 rebate, five weeks. The problem is I should have received a $90 rebate. I called and they said a $40 rebate card will be mailed. You have to stay on top of them.
