    Default White-bellied Sunbird

This image was created at the Lower Sabie rest camp in The Kruger National Park. A fairly common sunbird, the White-bellied is also one of the smallest and they enjoy feasting on the aloes that flower during the winter months. Male pictured here.

Love the comp & exposure! The pollen at the base of the bill makes it for me!

    Hi Vic.
Love the colour that you have captured. you did well to capture him so sharp at that SS as they are continuously on the move.

Victor, I really like what you have captured. Having tried to capture these guys in Kruger's rest camps myself, I know how difficult it is to make a pleasing shot. Great background, beautiful aloe and one of my favourite birds.

Very nice Victor - you've really captured the detail and colour in the plumage and the perch is stunning.

    cheers

Lovely iridescence Vic, well exposed throughout, and I like the BG. A slightly better HA would have been first prize, but still well captured.

    Lovely image,
I like the perch, colors (I would desaturate the yelow a bit), sharpness, BG and perch.
I would open the frame a bit top and right. The signature is oversized for me.

    H Victor and welcome,

This is very nicely done but for the head angle (HA). Do check out the Head Angle Police thread in ER. SH and EXP right on and a wicked-cool flower. But if you do everything right and press the shutter button when the bird is looking away all of your efforts are for naught.

Is that pollen at the base of the bill?

Thanks. I like the pollen and it tells a story. Do not be laughing at the HAP. I am the El Capitano and you just may wind up in HA Jail. Not a pleasant thought....
