    Your series of recent shorebird pictures are really inspirational. The colours and clarity are so vivid, great deatil.

    Axel, I like the tighter crop he it really draws your attention in. The partial web-foot showing and it's reflection adds alot to the composition. Nice sharp details.

    What do you mean , "High Speed"? Do they ever run slow???? Sweet light and great angle make this one a keeper.

    Lovely light and so sharp and nicely framed. I only wish that the had been angling slightly towards you rather than fractionally away. Handholding is the way to go for this type of capture. I have been trying and failing off a tripod or a ground pod for years...

    Thanks, Artie! Handholding really helps in this kind of situation. I think the bird is pretty much parallel to the sensor but I would have preferred if had walked more towards me.

    I'd agree on pretty much but it seems to me that the bill tip is a bit farther away from you than the center of the tail. Not by much for sure
