Assignment: Macro - “Little Red”
This pretty little girl came in to pose for her portrait. Little Red was painted with a Nikon D2x, using a Nikkor 200mm f/4 IF-ED macro lens with a stacked combination of two 25mm extension tubes.

What was your strategy for capturing this insect in your field of view? Did you have a monopod mounted camera prefocused on the greens and just waited patiently or were you following the action of the insect as it moved around to multiple landing spots? Love those eyes!
