These guys are common in gardens, and found in the wild as in this image. This was taken last weekend, in the Pilanesberg nature reserve. Its always good to get a pair, but not sure if they are male and female. Being together they could be. Canon 50D 100-400 @ 400mm 1/2000 F/6.3 ISO 500 Exp Comp +0.33 Hand Held
Nice to get a double Stu and both with good sharpness. Good feather details. WD!
I like the light, Comp, sharpnes, perch and the two birds. On my monitor there's a strong halo around the birds and the perch.
Great to have two in the frame with good head angles. I only wish for a lower angle and a better light angle. Did you use S/H?
beautiful head angles and nice poses!
Stuart, Nice composition and agree w/ Axel on the light angle. It's hard to get nice sharpness on both and you did beautifully. Interesting perch.
Comp, sharpnes, perch looks good to me lovely species TFS
Thanks all, for the feedback and input.
