It was a fun night, here's one of mine. Fun seeing everyone's work from the same scene.

    Hi Grace!
Killer light and reflection - I sure wish that I could have stayed a few more days...
    Best,

Grace, It is nice to see how varied each image is. I like the slightly raised wings and the sharp water splashes. Nice pose w/the feet down.

Love the fact that you got the reflection as well. I think it adds alot to the image.

The S curve from the skim and the water drops make it for me.. It is interesting that 7 of us were looking for differnet things from the scene.

    Hi Grace,
Love the action shot, sharp feet, HA and splashes. I would like to see this 1024 pixels wide, current size is a bit small to see all the detail. TFS

Very cool seeing the juvenile trying to get the hang of it!
Nice light and the reflection adds to the image.

Looks like it might be able to use just a tiny bit of CW rotation?

Pretty cool splashing going on, and I like the curving wake at left. I agree with Mike about small CW rotation, and I find the water colour a bit "muddy"...adding blue (reducing yellow) in Colour Balance nicely negates this. I would also crop above - just enough to eliminate the darker band creeping in in ULC. Still, well done!!

Lovely light with warm colours, and I like the various splashes left behind. Well captured Grace.
