    There are two young hiding -you can just see their heads peeking out.

    Canon 50D
    Lens 300 f/2.8
    iso 200, f/4.5 1/400

    I've never seen an osprey nest this low. I like the eye contacts and might remove the piece of the wood behind the adult bird.

    Gary, The nest does look very low to the water line. I agree w/ Axel regarding the wood behind the adult. Exposure on the bird looks good. It's nice to see the little heads peeking up-it tells a story.

    Nice behaivioral shot, I would crop a bit tighter and remove the branches behind the bird. I am not crazy about blown white sky in the BG but you could not control that. TFS
