This image was viewed earlier in the color competion, but I felt it fit well with the white of winter and the HK theme, so it is back for a second appearance, slightly modified.

Image was taken on Lake Geneva, Wisconsin ... many years ago.

    Enjoy!

Hi Mark, Good HK rendition. I would crop some off the top and add a bit to the right.

Mark, I like this image and you sure are getting some mileage out of it!! Nice HK effect and I like the soft grey tones. I agree it could use a bit of room on the right. Well done.

Hi Mark. I love the ice sailing rigs and this is a nice HK rendition. The soft grey tones are very pleasing to the eye. It does make me think about my youth in Indiana and skating on frozen lakes...

Lovely effect Mark - I also think it's a bit tight to the right.

Thanks for viewing and comments. Another option is possible as usual, but I prefer as posted. With the three boats, I think the crop is adequate. There is no front to the gathering, as they are circled. But appreciate the comments and have explored the other option prior to posting.

Kerry, I miss Wisconsin winters, when I look at snow pictures of the midwest weather. But I don't miss the midwest winters when the snow is flying!!! As my wife will confirm.

Very nice graphic look with the soft gray tones, Mark. I like the composition and could go with either crop version.
